United States Requirements for Voting in Federal Elections and the Voting Floor of Direct Congress:

  1. U.S. Citizen
  2. Must have a valid voter registration, voter ID number or other approved government issued identification that can be checked for uniqueness in government databases.
  3. Age 18, or older

Direct Congress encourages the participation of people of ALL ages and backgrounds in the political process. We allow anyone age fourteen or older to join ‘DC’, submit star ratings, make comments, and propose new laws.To be able to vote on laws, a participant must have reached their eighteenth birthday and been verified as a registered voter by ‘DC’ staff.
